Tops Skirts

am considering maroon tops with cream skirts for my bridesmaids?
i would really like to hear your views. the maroon fabric has some beautiful detail to it. apart from that i just want my wedding to have a different style of doing things. wats your take on that. i have logged on to a number of sights but all i get is Cream tops with maroon skirts. will my bridesmaid look nice with wat i want.
