Sewing Crafts-How to make a wonderfully useful and Creative Bag Caddy

Do you have a battle keeping your groceries Plastic and organized in one place? Making a bag towel Caddy is a great way to keep your bags recyclable plastic organized and handy. These simple instructions are easy to follow and you'll be able to make a for every room of your house and garage in minutes.

Your bag Caddy can easily be stored in your kitchen by hanging on a hook on the side of your refrigerator. Or if you prefer to keep out of sight, placed inside a kitchen cabinet or under the sink. Another great use is to hang in your room cabinets, closets or cabinets towels. By placing a bag terry Caddy in these areas, it will keep your href = "http://www.showcasetoideas.com"> sacs recyclable pleasant and convenient for emptying the trash (especially if you have a two-story house), and will save you time! Also, hanging one in your garage or laundry room will also come into use. If you have a pet, it makes it easy to grab a bag of recyclable plastic bag from your Caddy to take with you when you walk with your pet.

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • 1 decorative cloth towel: We chose one with a fringe peak on it.
  • 1 spool of thread: White or any color coordinated to fit your cloth.
  • Sewing needle
  • Satin Ribbon: 8in. length
  • Straight pins

Step 1: Fold the towel in two cloths with right sides together and the bad sides outwards.

Step 2: Attach the ends in place with pins straight along the open side of the cloth.

Step 3: Using the needle and thread (or Sewing Machine), sewing stitching ΒΌ inch pinned on the side and remember to remove your straight pins and cut off all floats.

Step 4: Then, fold your ribbon in half to create a length of 8 inches. Stitch your ribbon to the top right side of the cloth to form a loop (see below for photos).

Step 5: Turn the bag right side and insert your recyclable plastic bags in the caddy bag filling each end until it is full.

There you have. A bag Organized Caddy for your recyclable plastic bags which is a useful and practical craft project sewing, and is also a wonderful craft project if Green you decide to recycle and use an old towel rather than throw it in the trash or garage.
