Kaleidoscope-like pattern on early 80's TV?

Anyone remember does something strange habit to be on late at night in the early 80's? I would not even call it a show, more like a saver primitave screen is a very early computer animation. There were a bunch of simple shapes like diamonds or squares on a black background, this kind of change through a range of colors? I do not think there was a sound to it, something like a test pattern that would be on the night. I try to find a screen saver or even a photo of him. Can anyone help me out?
