Mouth Transition When Singing?
I heard a lot of people saying that we should sing vertically not vice-versa.. But i totally feel that it’s a bit hard..As an example, EEeee vowel…it should be horizontal…not that wide though. Becoz i’ve tried to sing vowel Eee. in a vertical way but it automatically flips to falsetto …what i said is towards the high pitch. Why is that so? Can someone explain what’s the method. I’m a new male singer in a school band btw
Really need your help. Thanks in advance.,
what you heard is correct if you are trying to reproduce a nice round sound or in other words singing healthy more like a classical singer. If that is what you are looking for, then yes…you need to find the way for that EEeee vowel to have a vertical space and in general all your vowels should be like that. Try this: sing an “uh” vowel and feel the space it creates, then try to apply sort of the same sensation to the “EEeee” vowel. (I imagine you are talking about “i” in latin vowels)
