What stores sell pre-cut squares QUILTING?
What brick and mortor stores sell boxes of precut 5 ", 6" or 7 "squares? (I'm in Texas) Who would the best choice? Anyplace have better prices? I already bought some from ebay for price very well, but you can not really see the fabric before you buy, kwim. (please do not suggest a rotary cutter …. I change hobbies as I change my socks) lol. Thank you a bunch!
JoAnn, Micheals, Hobby Lobbies, I have even seen them in stores like Big Lots, Odd Lots, and do not forget your Quilt shops. If you have a quilt shop in your area [person who sells fabrics] ask them. Many of them have ACCUCUT machines that will cut the fabric in the quilt forms. Quilters many of them also. The cost is high, but the stores that have them indicate customers use it to cut fabric purchased in their store. sooooooooooo They are easy to use, you put your fabric on the die [part with blades Cutting] cover it with shield and roll under the roller and it is cut, I am able to eliminate up to 12 unique items at once with quilting cotton. There were various forms of death and all. What is nice about this, you can choose the fabric you want and you can cut out a quilt king size within 20 min. Gosh just had a thought, if you have something like a list of Greg in your area ……. ask there if someone has a machine with ACCUCUT chain in the size you are interested, it may cut your fabric to you. I know I am doing for others. I can cut more than 20 meters of fabric 8 "square and less than 30 min. Side note, you can buy a rotary cutter for less than $ 10, they are not expensive at all and very worth their weight in gold for all Quilters.
