Purple Passion

Is it possible to grow passion fruits purple in Northern California?
I live in the Bay area, and I was wondering how or where I could get passion fruit purple. Is there anyway to grow by myself?
I do not think it would be warm enough, except if you have a large green house, I'm not sure though
