Project Runway Australia
Thus, the first (and so far only) season of Project Runway Australia has ended. A big Congratulations goes Julijana Grbac Brisbane!
The show was very popular with millions of viewers weekly in the local agreement to see the next Budding fashion designer get booted from the show. Project Runway Australia follows the very successful original Project Runway in America. Twelve candidates are chosen to compete for $ 100,000 that goes towards creating a collection for Melbourne Fashion Week, a six-page magazine in Madison and a car.
In Australia, the show was judged by Sarah Gale and Jayson Brunsdon. Gale, a fashion buyer and trend forecaster, is a regular speaker at the Melbourne school Fashion. Renowned fashion designer Brunsdon has over a hundred stores around the world, and has dressed many celebrities including Linda Evangelista and Princess Mary. The two leaders had a good chemistry on the show, and judging criteria congratulated each other. Gale criticized based on the commercial viability of designs, while Brunsdon gave his opinions on the survivability of the design in the fashion world today.
Be the first season in Australia, Project Runway is expected to create a second season after his success at the local level. However, as with anything nice and popular, there are always critics who follow.
Comments have been circulating in public forums on Host Kristy Hinze. Even if it is scene in the beautiful, glamorous host Heidi Klum is similar to the original Project Runway, she simply was not as smooth or natural. Several members publicly complained about how stiff and practiced she seemed when talking. To the last episodes later, his smile tight depicts a preference some obvious candidates.
However, overall, the show has been a fantastic first season, and Australia is really looking forward to those to come.
Designer fabric company in Italy had the privilege to work with Petrova Hammond, one of the top 3 finalists of Project Runway Australia. Hammond used d'Italia material for some of his drawings in the show.
