Has anyone created their own packages? Is it difficult?
My mother wants to create mines and bouquets of flowers my bridesmaids for my wedding, but I am concerned in terms of time (since she is the mother of the bride, she will be busy) and if she can bring to advance. Any tips?
Create your own packages is easier than you think, especially if you are creative. If your mother thinks she can do is tell him he should probably average an hour a bouquet when you take into account the time of preparation, installation and final decoration (ie. tape, etc..) I created the bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, etc. for weddings of several friends and if it can be long ago reduced costs enormous. Here are some quick tips to help make things go faster: – Order flowers well in advance so that your provider be sure to have what you want. I used Sam's Club on multiple occasions and they forced me to order them about a week or two advance. – Pick flowers from 48 to 36 hours before the wedding. Take home with them and prep them immediately by cutting approximately 1 / 2 an inch from the bottom of the stems and placing them in water with a condom flower that usually comes with the flowers in bulk. – Keep them in cool water until about 16 hours before you need them / marriage. – The night before the wedding assemble floral bouquets and using metal tape. Leave the stems so long you can always keep them in water until the next morning. – The morning of the wedding snip the stems the same length and wrap the ribbon for dramatic effect. (Use coursage pin to hold the ribbon in place.) – Keep cool until marriage. I hope this helps! Congratulations and good luck!
