Midnight Sky
Help me identify an object in the night sky?

Ok so I live in Washington, DC, and for days (at least), there is a star intense visible light in our sky. This is really unusual here since we usually see the belt of Orion and that's about it. The station is located south and I am normally an overview about midnight. Ideas that star-planet it might be? Or anyway you could direct me to a graphics card or I could use to determine this number? What is jupiter look like to the naked eye? What time of night it is visible?

Jupiter is in the Southeast right now
