Knit Colourful

My cat keeps coughing up hairballs and I really want to put them to good use. I am thinking of knitting?
sweaters with them….Or making some colorful oriental-looking rugs. Any pointers/suggestions?
i reckon you could make some hair extensions with them – rasta plaits,, dread locks – my cat threw some up earlier – here have mine too – ewwwwwwww
