How can I put holes in a nylon dog collar to attach an invisible fence receiver?

Try this:

Get a large-ish sized nail and, holding it with a pair of pliers, heat the tip with a lighter.

Once it’s hot, push it through the collar — the heated metal should melt the nylon, making a hole and cauterizing it at the same time.

Repeat for the other hole.
