VS free panty card?
We recently received a free panty card in the mail at our apartment.(I have 2 guy roomates) It came to the last tentant but there was only a name on the mailer and not the actual card.
Anyway Ive been sucked into a dare which turned into a hundred dollar bet. I have to go into a Victoria Secret and get the free panty. It has to be in my size and just regular cotton bikini…nothing frilly that might be written off as a gift for the gf. I have to seek out help from the sales girl but cant say that I here on a dare.
I dont want to weird the worker or and customer out. My question is do you see guys shoping at VS? If someone has worked there before or known someone that has is it common for me to buy panties for themselves. thanks in advance
What a great idea! Men should see what women have to go thru to get dressed up for them more often although I know that its different when there is not a social taboo against what putting the clothes on. But I say, use the bet as an excuse to have some fun!
As a former assistant manager of one of a chain of well-known ladies’ boutiques, my suggestion is to call the store first and ask to speak with the manager [or asst.] before you go in. Tell the manager that you have the card and that you just want to confirm if it is still valid for the free gift. They will probably ask you if it is for a gf or not, if you will want a sales assistant to help you pick something out, and if so, if you are coming in today, etc., etc..
Just keep saying that you are embarrassed to ask [won't THAT be the truth] but you want get a panty to wear as a joke to play on your gf, as if you always wear them ["Oh, didn't you know, Alice?"] as if it were April Fool’s day or someting; and they will probably be very accomodating. I would wait until you go in and have the manager assign a salesgirl to help you, and get to know her a bit by having her show their inventory of simpler underwear to you before you mention that the panty is for you.
We occasionally had guys come into our store to get themselves something daring or secretive, and that was fine, and even quite entertaining for all of us working at the store. The hard part was that they were too timid to say what they wanted to buy, or why, etc, so it becomes a bit challenging to help them.
Also, you can ask about how the sizes relate to waist measurements; saying that you do not know the first thing about ladies’ sizes. When she realizes that the waist dimension you are asking about is probably your waist measurement, she will start to get the hint and probably tease it out of you a bit. After sharing a good laugh with her by this point [hopefully], she may even invite you to take a dressing room in the back of the store; you know, just to make sure it fits. If you are lucky and brave enough, you may even ask her to give her opinion on the quality of the fit while you are in there.
We had this pleasant spectacle in our store occasionally, and it was quite entertaining for all of us, but I think that that the guy had fun too, as well as learned a thing or two about women that he would never know otherwise! I say, go for it!
