Question Denim embroidery?

OK, I bought this set for embroidery of butterflies and flowers on jeans for my daughter. No laughing allowed. The only thing I do not get it. I bought this set and it came with these transfers were all white design elements and flossing. and instructions. OK, I get that your supposed to stitch floss. What are you doing? I do not understand. Am I supposed to cut these elements From there the leaves and iron it on the jeans? If I do that the white light to show through when I finish Stitchin. From the picture, it seems that is just below the fabric, no white stripes. ?? I do not understand what I'm supposed to do. Any help would be appreciated. You can send me email, so if you need. Cut out the transfer you want use. Lay the jeans and decide where you want the transfer to be. Iron at the spot where you want the transfer to be if the jeans are hot and have no wrinkles. Lay the transfer face down on the jeans and put the iron over whether the transfer. Do not "iron" – that do not move the iron back and forth. This may smear the transfer. "Press" instead.
