Bobbin Cases

I can not get my Sewing Machine to work. The upper thread wraps around the bobbin at a time.?
The machine is a Kenmore 10 Model # 1262182 and I bought it used I have no manual and can not find a line, I think I threaded correctly.
How about asking a friend who sews? Ask them to come home and check it.
