what is the hottest part of flame lighter, blue or yellow part?
I think the hottest part is right in the middle (between the blue and yellow), because this being the place where combustion could best (in terms of O2/gas ratio). Right?
In reality, the blue area the flame is hotter, but something turns more quickly from the top of the flame, since the hot gases of the flame are rising. Holding a thing at the top of the flame means he has a steady stream of freshly heated gas flowing past it, so it heats faster and it ignites quickly. At the bottom of the flame, it is transferring its own heat, but other hot gases rush to replace them by quickly. The thing cools your lighting Flame, flame, heats it, so it takes longer before it is fired. This heat transfer. : D So if you try to light something on fire, use up.
