NASA unveils shield winner at the end of a contest shuttle launch shuttle spacecraft flanked by an American flag and stars orbiter fleet from both NASA and the astronauts whose lives were lost while flying on board was chosen by the space agency as its official insignia to mark the retirement of the winged spaceship.
